We are a pit bull rescue in Colorado that has recently taken on a 6 month old deaf Amerian Pit Bull Terrier, possibly Dogo mix.
She is a wonderful and sweet little girl, but is having a lot of problems. She is very easily startled by everything, has submissive peeing, barks when left alone or crated, and seems particularly frightened by other animals, even cats.
She does ok with some dogs, the more easy going mellow ones, but growls at any that act too hyper of playful with her.
This poor kid is really going to need an especially loving, patient, and dedicated owner. With the situation as it is right now for pit bulls in Colorado with so many in shelters and so many cities banning them we are really worried about Baby.
We are desperate for any advice, leads on training, how to find her a home, and possible financial resources to help with the extra care and training she needs.
If anyone has experience with this or knows anyone with a big enough heart to take this girl on please contact us at adopt@coloradopitbullrescue.com
We are so grateful for any help! |
