We have a blue merle Aussie around 2-3 years old in Paulding County Animal Control in Dallas, GA. Both of our special needs foster homes are full and cannot take him.
We have been able to buy him some time, but have gotten no guarantees from the shelter. He was evaluated and the volunteer feels that he does have hearing function and can see some shadows.
He is very affectionate, wiggling and likes to give kisses. He seemed to be fine with the dogs around him.
I am looking for a foster home or forever home for this dog. If I can get a firm commitment from a caring individual, I will arrange to have him vetted prior to transport.
